for the children we made a small gang of finger-puppet dolls inspired by marco polo

the great traveler his pirates and a marco super hero to connect the story with today ;-)

they where all attached to a paper bag full of candy

the great army....

for the grown ups we made lavender bags!!!

and they where each packed into an eco friendly paper bag

for the candle we made a big version of the super hero Marco doll, with a mask that the child can take off and with a super hood

we made 47 'Tsolias' cloth dolls

and 140 'tsolias' paper puppets

ornament tutorial

you will need: a child! - fabric or regular markers - a solid color fabric for the front - a patterned fabric for the back - string - and a sewing machine - stuffing or lavender.

cut the solid color fabric in pieces and leave the child to draw on them

sew the back and front together leaving a hole for stuffing

stuff the little bag and close it

add the string with a needle

and here is your ornament!!!!

my past 2 months......

.....in the 17th of august i went up those stairs to deliver this new guy :-)......

...it felt great making a new little person again...

one of psarokokalo's team best creations!

....then we took him and went on a small vacation in Evoia...

we stayed at a beautiful house

and had some visitors :-)

...... she made them!.....

i woke up one day and found those guys next to my bed

back home we had some abdominal pain and dad made it better...

i took a job in making 350 boats and fish!!!

somewhere between boats and fish, new baby and sleepless nights, i went and had a gallbladder operation that was hard...

but

here is the big boat we made,

our new boat mobile

and in the end this lovely lady was made, for my traditional costume inspired doll series...

life is hard but also beautiful,

all we can do is make.....
