a few of my favorites

following his work makes me feel more liberated about my work
and making things without feeling the obligation that they should be perfect or detailed allows me the pleasure to make mistakes and turn them into something beautiful, takes the stress of my work, thanks for that Danny ....
some of his words: ''it's so beautiful to see someone who has made something and didn't quite know what they were doing but did it anyway-when you can really see the fire was under their feet and they had to make it or else...''

a constant working artist....
he started making clothes because of his need to his own individual. he took apart all his clothes and tried to follow and learn the patterns....it took him all of the 90's to develop a way of sewing that looks naive and disheveled, but still well made.

he began using his grandmas supplies and sewing machine, (this is common i started like that crafting too). the images of his childhood and the memories of his grandmother creating things are often his inspiration...

''what we need is inside ourselves''

Danny lives in Chicago , US
he often tells me that he feels that people
look at him as something weird...

That made me feel real good about my bungling about with fiber. I needed that to get going again, Thanks!
